Mark Wahlberg and Leonardo DiCaprio are friends after all

Mark Wahlberg has shed more light on the so-called feud he had with Leonardo DiCaprio in the 1990s. The Academy Award-nominated actor recalled a heated discussion he had with the 'Titanic' star, in which Leo apparently questioned his ability to play a role in the 1995 movie 'The Basketball Diaries'.

The Basketball Diaries (1995) was one of the first bigger roles for Leonardo DiCaprio, and Mark Wahlberg was just making his way in the Hollywood as well.

DiCaprio got the leading role, and Wahlberg played a smaller part in this biopic about a teenager who finds his dreams of becoming a basketball star threatened after he free falls into the world of drug addiction.

Wahlberg's and DiCaprio's paths crossed many times. Wahlberg accepted the role first offered to DiCaprio, to star in Boogie Nights (1996), and in 2006, they have both appeared in Martin Scorsese's The Departed.

It seems that some kind of beef was going on between them, but now, more than 20 years later, Wahlberg addressed the problem and explained the whole deal!
