Recent Oscar winner Guillermo del Toro recently held a masterclass in his hometown of Guadalajara, during the city's film festival, but when 30 thousand entry requests were made, the selfless director announced that he'd hold another two classes to ensure everyone can come to see him speak.
The Guadalajara International Film Festival is a week-long movie festival held each March.
The GIFF was founded in 1986.
By this day, it is one of the most prestigious movie festivals of Latin America, with more than 300 movies that come from about 45 countries every year.
Guadalajara is also famous for being a hometown of two-times Oscar winning writer and director Guillermo del Toro.
Following the huge success of del Toro's new film The Shape of Water (2017), the Guadalajara International Film Festival organized a master class by Guillermo del Toro himself.
The interest for his master class was so massive, that famed director had to hold two more lectures, so everybody could attend.
