Louis Tomlinson has reassured fans that his music is still his priority after confirming his role as a judge on the talent show The X Factor U.K. The former One Direction star was forced to defend his decision to join Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams and Ayda Field on this year's judging panel after fans feared it marked the end of his burgeoning solo career, which has so far produced hits including 'Just Hold On' and 'Back to You'.
The 26-year-old Tomlinson started his career appearing on The X Factor with One Direction.
Even though they didn't win the show, One Direction soon became a worldwide sensation, with 5 album sold in millions of copies all over the globe.
Tomlinson and Liam Payne are only ones from 1D that didn't release their solo albums yet.
Payne is currently busy with his personal life - he separated from Cheryl just a month ago.
But what about Tomlinson? His new job as one of the judges on The X Factor will surely prolong release of his debut studio album.
