'Mission: Impossible - Fallout' star Henry Cavill is hoping his latest action film serves as an audition to play James Bond. The Brit, who also portrays Superman in the 'Justice League' films, has revealed he'd jump at the chance to take over from Daniel Craig as 007, promising producers an all-action performance if he's given the opportunity.
We cannot imagine what the race for the new agent 007 looks like. All those Hollywood actors, agents and producers, trying their best to ensure that they or their client are/is the next title role in Bond franchise.
Cavill is one of the most popular actors nowadays, portraying Superman in numerous DC's big screen titles.
Also, he is from Jersey, Channel Island, so the accent will come naturally to him. But, he is surely not the only one who wants this role.
Names that are currently in the play are Tom Hardy, James Norton, Jack Huston and Idris Elba.
The last Daniel Craig Bond movie will be out next year. Bond 25 (2019) is directed by Danny Boyle, and the premiere is set for November 8, 2019.
