Funnyman Kumail Nanjiani, who's was recently nominated for an Oscar for his biographical romantic comedy 'The Big Sick' has recently signed up to star next to Dave Bautista in an action comedy called 'Stuber'.
Stuber is freshly announced action/comedy about a detective who recruits his Uber driver into an unexpected night of adventure.
Sounds like a comedy version of Michael Mann's Collateral (2004) with big commercial for Uber.
Never the less, it features some of the hottest names in Hollywood right now, like Dave Bautista and Kumail Nanjiani.
Nanjiani became somewhat famous appearing in hit TV series Silicon Valley (2014-2017), and after his Oscar nomination for The Big Sick (2017) he definitely became a force to reckon with.
Bautista is a big name in the world of WWE, and he became a movie sensation playing big, green alien Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy franchise.
Stuber's director is another Hollywood royalty - Michael Dowse, who is known for his movies It's All Gone Pete Tong (2004), Goon (2011) and What If (2013).
Screenplay for Stuber signs aspiring, young writer from Germany - Tripper Clancy. This will be his Hollywood debut!
