Celebrated fashion designer Hubert de Givenchy has died, aged 91. His partner Philippe Venet, a former haute couture designer, revealed that Givenchy had passed away on Saturday the 10th of March.
The creator of the little black dress that conquered the world after Audrey Hepburn wore it in Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961) has left us on March 10.
Givenchy was 91 years old, at the time of his death.

He was one of the youngest designers of the Paris progressive fashion scene, being only 25 years old at the time when he made his first collection - Bettina Graziani.
Givenchy made history once more, by designing Balloon coat and the Baby Doll dress, in 1958.
Hubert de Givenchy retired from fashion design in 1995. He spent the last 20 years of his life mainly in his Chateau du Jonchet.
