Letitia Wright was born in the African nation of Guyana, but moved with her family to London when she was 7 years old. There she fell in love with movies and decided to become an actress. She started sending emails to agents, but it wasn't until she enrolled in drama school that things started to take off.
Letitia Wright is the 24-year-old actress from Georgetown, Guyana. She is best known for her role of Shuri, in Marvel's superhero hit Black Panther (2018).
Wright began acting on little screen, appearing in TV series Holby City (2011) and in a TV movie Random (2011).
Victim (2011) was her first silver screen job, after which she appeared in My Brother the Devil (2012) and Urban Hymn (2015), all while working on other television series such as Chasing Shadows (2014), Banana (2015) and Cucumber (2015).
Wright then managed to have roles in big budget hit TV series Doctor Who (2015), Humans (2016) and Black Mirror (2017).
The 2018 will be an important year for this aspiring, young actress as she will star in big Hollywood movies such as: The Commuter (2018), Black Panther (2018) and Ready Player One (2018).
She will also reprise her role of Shuri from Black Panther (2018) in the forthcoming Marvel's supermovie Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
