Mark Hamill, AKA Luke Skywalker literally stopped traffic in Hollywood on Thursday as thousands of fans flocked to his Walk of Fame star ceremony.
Every year a different actress, actor, producer, director, screenwriter or some other movie-worker gets his/hers Walk of Fame star.
This year, it was time for Mark Hamill to put his hands and feet into concrete that will mark him officially as one of the important stars in Hollywood.
Hamill was born on September 25, 1951, in Oakland, California. His first role was in the TV series General Hospital (1972-1973), and after a bunch of small and big parts in various TV shows, Hamill got a role of young Luke Skywalker in one of the most popular movies of all times - Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977).
Even though he is mostly known as a young Jedi from the Star Wars saga, Hamill's career is marked mostly by doing voice acting jobs.
He is famous among fans of various Batman animated series and films, as the voice of The Joker.
Hamill has more than 300 television and movie titles in his resume! That is an impressive number! He surely deserves his star on the Walk of Fame!
